Intercom System
The UIS-379/D intercom system offers a range of value-added services for in-vehicle communications, is based on a modular and distributed architecture, providing crew members access to voice/vehicle data traffic and radio communications.
The UIS-379/D system is characterised by high reliability and intelligibility of the communications inside the tank, it also offers numerous optional additional functions, such as wireless connection for crew and recording services of voice and on-board video systems.
Units without display and keyboard are the interfaces for radios or other systems, while units with display and keyboard are the interfaces for operators. The unit is built with materials suitable to operate under extreme climatic and operating conditions, according to MIL standards. The devices are designed to avoid any kind of risk and danger for the operator who uses them, as well as to allow quick and safe access to the controls.
The operator terminal has an integrated LCD panel, the unit can also be equipped with an additional radio interface, a speaker and an audio-data logger unit. The operator can be connected via cable or wireless. There is also a panel with knobs for the remote operator to allow the normalisation of the operator interface thanks to a panel display.
