Description
The CI-9/89-EVO Helmet is an audio communication accessory specifically designed to meet all the soldier’s needs in terms of ballistic protection and communication (via the on-board intercom system). The helmet features a protective shell which plays an important role in the soldier’s safety.
It also provides a high level of ear protection thanks to an earpiece with microphone included in the helmet which, using a specific electronic device, ensures considerable attenuation of high and low frequency noise (even and especially when speech is in progress). Furthermore, the helmet can be interfaced directly with a pocket radio, which allows the soldier to have hands free during operation. Furthermore, in order to maintain perfect communication capability both inside and outside the vehicle in the operational theater, Larimart has developed a wireless adapter that allows communication between a standard CI9/89 ballistic helmet and the UIS-379/D – Digital Intercom System.
