Description
The SA-105 SERIES M8 PCT system, at the base of the antennas, is able to be raised at least 7750 mm from the stabilised platform of the launcher, through a system of telescopic tubes with 4 mobile slides. The two antennas in operating conditions are at the minimum relative distance of 1.4 m, while during rest they are sheltered within the encumbrance of the cells, avoiding mechanical interference with the packages themselves and therefore the whip effect when on the move, thanks to a mobile antenna interface translation system.
The antennas can be installed permanently on the Mast and are automatically moved by command operated from the UMB local operator.
